7 Things You Didn't Know About Ancient Egypt

Yeap Ancient Egypt definitely had its stuff in order. The Feather of Truth (the Feather belonging to Goddess Ma'at) had to be heavier than your heart that was being measured on The Weighing Scale to pass the test by God Anubis. Supposedly the real message was to be 'light-hearted' in life (something that I will acknowledge I still have a lot of work to do on).

Then priests who got too powerful started 'selling' salvation in deity statuettes for a fee to get more money (sounds very familiar in this modern age), and desecrated statues of female leaders like Queen Hatshepsut and removed her achievements from history to make it turn into a patriarchal order.

It was a matter of time before the Land of Khem would get toasted, in the same way that is happening to the United States in this year 2014 C.E.

History repeats itself because we create a great system and then trash it, in the words of 'V' the guerrilla economist. "The pigs return to the trough; the dog returns to its vomit."

Time we stopped and looked within ourselves to break this sorry cycle. A lot of work but a lesser pain than falling face-down on our own crap for the 9004th time.

PROTIP to couples:  Avoid having kids until you clean your own toilet first. All you are doing is perpetuating the problem.
